•Tortellini vs. Tortelloni
- Tortelloni is filled with spinach and ricotta cheese.
- Tortellini is filled with meat.
•What the Pitti Palace is: (the huge building right across from my school.)
- The Pitti Palace is actually a palace (Italians call all old buildings palaces, but this one is actually a palace, not just old) where the Medici family lived at one point and it is now open for tours and is the entrance to the Boboli Gardens (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boboli_Gardens).

Hi Whit. It's so fun reading your blog. I think we will all be getting an education right along with you. Good to know the diffence between tortellini and tortilloni. Hope you'll be taking some cooking classes while you're there to share with us. What are the temps there? Keep having fun and stay safe. Pam
Hi Wee!!! Good job updating your blog - it's been fun to read! Sounds like you're adjusting fine and having a good time seeing the beautiful sights! About the tortellini vs. tortelloni thing - at Olive Garden (our favorite) we order tortellIni but don't have meat in them... I think America has a thing or two to learn here. Thanks for the clarification anyway. :)
